FirstStab is a US-based on-demand services platform offering a variety of professional services at home. Users can use the FirstStab app to book services, such as accounting, carpentering, cleaning, medical, legal, mechanical, plumbing, programming, engineering, business testing, home decor, etc., at any time. To fulfill the services, the platform works closely with professional service partners, who are denoted as PRO.
As the services extend to the entire US, building trust among service providers and end users was a challenge.
After completion of service, the client wanted money to be held in a segregated account.

Dealing with six different timezones in a single region
The project was expected to launch in the US, but the region has six different time zones.
The client wanted each stakeholder to work according to their real-time timezone.
The app was facing errors as users were booking services based on their timezone, and service providers were accepting the services in their timezone. The users wanted the service to be completed in real time, which was difficult for providers in different time zones.

After undertaking this project, we researched extensively and went through several brainstorming sessions to find solutions to these diverse challenges. In the end, the hard work paid off, and we were able to create an app that exceeded the client’s expectations. With the launch of the app, FirstStab received a considerable response.
